Female Portrait Study

Portrait assignment from my online Figure Sculpting class at the Academy of Art University with my Instructor John Neary. This was made with water based Soldate-60 clay. Thank you to my teacher for guiding me through my first experiences with water based clay sculpting. It was a very difficult assignment coming from a digital sculpting background, but I learned a lot in the process.

The head is about 6 in. from the chin to the top of the head.
